Bewerley and Pateley Bridge Joint Liaison Committee meeting; 3rd September 2024
Bewerley Parish and Pateley Town Councils have a Joint Liaison Committee in which they consider matters of common interest. The next meeting of the JLC will be on Tuesday 3rd September at 6pm in the Council Chamber, King Street, Pateley Bridge. Parishioners are welcome to attend these meetings. Working party to prepare Bewerley Green for introduction of wildflowers
As part of its biodiversity policy the parish council has resolved to introduce wild flowers to a section of Bewerley Green, commencing with a small scale trial. They will install an area of eight square metres of pre-seeded 'wildflower mats'. This is in preference to planting seeds directly which, although cheaper, would take longer to produce results.

New Parish Council Clerk
Bewerley Parish Council is pleased to announce that William (Bill) Hickson has been appointed as the new Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer to Bewerley Parish Council, succeeding Tracey Dawson.
