I have worked in the technology and services industry for 40+ years and as part of my retirement plans I want to contribute and support my local area, so in 2023 was co-opted to the council.

My career has been based in the Technology and Service industry with multi national companies and I have held senior roles in these UK operations. I have always loved the outdoors and have been a Scout Leader, Sailing instructor and, currently, an active walk leader in the dale.

Our environment and its quality is very important to me.
